The 12 volt outlet on your genny doesn't put out anywhere close to enough amperage to run a troller.

 

Thanks for the info. I figured the amps would be what would determine that but wasnt sure.

 

theres a post somewhere hear on iota converters running trolling motors off the genny. Not to shure where though
