Curious to see what everyone uses. Brand and model and what size boat you have it on!

Those of you with Co pilot, how do you like them for bowfishing? Do you see advantages over a hand control? I like to use my big foot switch and coast up on them with the propeller off. Feel like that may be a bit more difficult with a Co pilot? Idk I'm open to anything just want opinions, probably getting rid of this dam minn kota that fried 2 armature in short time

it will work just like the big foot switch... just hit the button for the prop and it shuts down... I really dig having a hand remote vs anything else... still think the sexy stick is the easiest to run for someone that doesn't know what they are doing... but I hate shooting on the left side of the boat....lol

I've got 2 remotes on my boat. I have one and someone else can have one so if I'm steering and shoot a fish the other person can take over steering and keep fishing. Just don't put them on a key lanyard and wear it around your neck. Can get tangled in your bow or fall off if you bend over too far.

The basic answer is they all suck and they are engineered to fail. I would pay if someone would actually design and produce a quality built trolling motor. My garage looks like a trolling motor grave yard. Just got done with my yearly re-build, converted my 74lb maxxum to an 80lb maxxum, hope it will run out the rest of the season.
