So the other day my son and I shot a bunch of carp and during the day twice his arrow came off the string and was lost. The weird thing was that the loop was still there so it didn't break the line or anything like that. The first one I just figured he didn't lopp it or some thing but after that I began watching him loop after a pass through so I know he did it right but it happened anyway. I have not been TTB'ing that long so I thought I would ask you guys if this has happened before. My loops might be too big I don't know they are about 2-3 inches long. I also lost a Yellow Jacket (my kid was shooting white FG arrows) but that is because after about 150 shots I forgot to cut and retie it so it broke the line.
Last question I am using Monkey Wire and I notice the holes they drill in these arrows are kind of sharp so I used a small round file to smooth out the holes and edges does anyone else to this or something else?
