I think this is the first predator hunt I ever filmed. Started out as a turkey hunt. We spotted coyotes in the distance and I switched to a predator call! shot at 12 yards.

A buddy of mine was turkey hunting when he got shot in the face and it turned out to be his dad that shot!

I think you saved the decoy from a terrible death on camera. Might have been cool to see what he might have done. I note the decoy moved right on queue when the coyote looked at her!

cool video, i shot a female one spring that came into the decoys and 5 minutes after i shot her a big male came in, i rolled him but he got away. she didnt fair so well

Isn't it great when the wind does it's job! It just happened to move at the right time.

What type of loads were you shooting?

mind you this was a LONG time ago, but if I remember correctly it was winchester 3 1/2" #5's. Extra full choke.
