Turn it up?

So my "NEW" Osprey shoots OK but not nearly as hard as my old one, I knew it was set lighter whe my son pulled it back. I love the smoothness and seems to be set at very little letoff cuz there is maybe 3inches after the wall in the draw. So to turn it up I just loosen the red timing screws and crank down the main limb bolts? Also can I replace those rusted out main bolts with the ones off my Screamer? is it going to blow up in my face if I try to tke those screws all the way out?:cf:

Not sure about your osprey, but on the Black Eagles you can loosen the one timing screw on the cam, and crank the limb bolts down. Just make sure it is tillered correctly, then tighten up the timing screw.

Usually you can loosen the limb bolts some and take the string off easily like a recurve. But I am not 100% the limb bolts match either

Like Jeff said you loosen the tensioning hub screw then you turn in your limb bolts no more than two turns on each end at a time. The poundage will go up roughly five pounds with each full rotation of both limb bolts. The limb bolts in a screaming eagle are 1.75 inches long and the black eagle are 2 inches.
