Kinda hard to explain, but tie you a loop about 2 inches wide on the end of your string, put the loop through the hole in the end of the arrow once it's all the way through open the loop up and pass it over the knock, twist and pass it through over 1-2 more times.
No need to go ver two more times or twist....tie a loop in the end of your line(no bigger than 200 lb test)put the end of that loop through the eye in your arrow, loop it over the nock, pull tight and git r done

Guy's, there is a better and faster way. Tie your loop as shown in the vid. Then pass the loop and line throw the hole and down to the arrow tip. Put the tip through the loop and pull the string tight. You will never have it come loose and it is easy to take loose on a pass through. Try it you will like it. Dennis
Cool thanks, I will have to try it. Like I said I'm sure there are multiple ways this was just the way I was shown :)

Yeah I know, i know ive been told that a bunch haha it seems (to me at least) like you get less line wear if you loop it but I don't know. Plus I like the extra assurance in case it happens to be a big ole gar you shoot.... Either way were all gonna get our eyes poked out lol

:laugh:Thats a good piont, you do have to keep an eye for chaffing where the line rubs against the rest/arrow

Kuger and Brady got it. Sure it may chafe some, but if your a fisherman you know to check your line on occasion anyways. Super easy to get pass thru's off and super easy to cut the fray, tie another loop and get back in the game. If you line is going to break it will break with one loop or 14 loops.

you dont have a problem with the ff freying at all? also you shoot big gar with a spinner....have you ever had one come uplooped? just wondering
I lost three arrows in one night because they came unlooped, but i was shooting carp in grass. Learned my lesson to put it over the tip not just the nock, unless just shooting dink gar.

^^^^ this

I've done it both ways, one loop and multiple. One loop is easier to get off on a pass through but i have had it come off a few times but it's not very often. As for line wear, it happens either way so just keep an eye on it and retie when needed. I just do one loop now cause I'm lazy :)

What are the advantages of tying to the back? Is there a certain way to place the line on the rest to avoid snagging the rest?

I wont even loop over the back for dink gar any more. That night during the N vs. S while you was busting reels and I was busy losing arrows. I lost like 5 that night on those gar and 3 of them was because the loop flipped back over the nock.

I like how the arrow shoots compared to a slide. Seems like I
More consistent personally. I shoot a fanman rest on all my bows so you just have the line sitting under the Arrow. Wouldn't try it on some rests ( biscuit, qd) but the fanman is perfect for it!
I got a bow with a biscuit on it, it shoots fine tied to the back. just keep ur line free of twists.

Oh ok thought you couldn't or at least shouldn't I just figured the line would get tangled in the whiskers and break, errr I mean snap back and poke your eye out
