Here's one i concocted; 2lbs. venison cubed and browned in olive oil,3 med. potatoes cubed,1/4 bag baby carrots diced,4 stalks celery diced,1 med. onion diced,32oz. kitchen basics beef broth,1/2 tsp. ital. season,1/2 tsp. oregano,1/4 tsp garlic powder,1/4 tsp. celery salt, 1/4 tsp. parsley flakes,1/2 tsp. onion salt,1/2 tsp. reg. salt 1/2 tsp pepper.When your browning the venison sprinkle thyme and rosemary over it.Combine everything in crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours and then reduce to low for 4 hours or until vegetables get tender.1 hour before done,1 cup cold water and add 2 tblspns flour to it and mix then dump it in the crockpot-keep stirring until the broth thickens to gravy.

We just had some last night. Cube up 1 1/2 lb of venison chunks, Put flour salt & pepper in a bowl and mix the cubed meat into the flour mix, Put 1/4 cup olive oil into a frying pan and heat it up on medium, after the oil gets hot fry the meat in the pan until brown and then throw it in a crock pot, add potatoes, onions, carrots, celery and season to taste. Turn the crock pot on high and cook for 5 hours.

2 or 3# venison, cubed into bite sized pieces. Put into crock pot with 1 cup "Pace" Picante sauce, 1 can Lipton "Golden Mushroom" soup, 1 package dry Mushroom / Onion soup, and 3 - 4 cups water. Simmer on low 4 hours.
Cut 2 large potatoes, 1 onion, 1/2 stalk celery, 3 - 4 carrots into bite size pieces and add to crock pot. Add hot water to cover all ingredients. Cook on high for 3 hours.
ENJOY! but be careful...your tounge will beat your brains out to get to this!!

2 pounds venison cubes, 1 pound baby carrots, 2 to 3 pounds diced red potatoes, 2 packs french onion soup mix and 1 can of beef broth n one can water, 1 whole vidalia onion cut into 1 in. pieces and about a half a stick of butter and then salt n pepper to taste. leave that joker in da crock pot on low over night and enjoy the next day thats about as simple as it gets and if you want it to be thicker put a couple teaspoons corn starch in it
