There is a power plant just up the river from me. They have a warm water release that puts warm water into the river. Do you guys think it would be any good this time of year? Its been pretty cold this winter and no fish anywhere. I am just gettin a small boat put together to shoot during the day. I've never thought about bowfishing until now. I'm just curious if any of yall have experience with a sight like this.

I know that the fish tend to stack up in the hot water discharges in power plant lakes here in Texas! Give it a try.

In Tennessee you are not allowed to fish those area around the Discharge area :shhh:


Things like this vary from state to state, so you probably should check the rules/regs. for your state.

fish be cold blooded and gotta get warm some way so they should be packed in there like sardines but again ya might wanna check your regs places like that usually a no no never can tell though. lol if i was a fish thats where id be
