I only get weeds on the shaft so I don't think they would do much good.

Looks like it will keep it of the prop but it going to catch all kinds of chit on the shaft and cone thing.

my problems come from weeds on the prop. i think it would be a good idea. atleast for one trip, to check it out...

I was thinking that. I grind enough sand, rocks, logs that it would always be in the prop. We got a good system of weed removal, I pull up the troller, guy next to me pulls the weeds. If they don't like it then they can get their own battlecraft.

ive never had all that much of a prob with weeds i use a weedless prop n it does fairly good the only prob ive seen thusfar is when we get into this really fine lookin moss my home lake produces after each night ya have to take the prop off and clean around the shaft that stuff is so fine that a unit like that on it wouldnt help none anyway

They used to make a product that epoxied a razor blade next to the prop to cut the weeds off. I am going to try that this year with 2 part marine epoxy and see if it works or not.
