Every F ag I know that comes in Jeffs shop shoots G5 stuff.. They are a COPY cat company and support g a y s in the ARMY..
Hahahahhaahaha!! So I guess that means you shoot G5 too huh?? What's wrong with g-ays in the army?? Just a better chance of thinning the herd!!

I killed hundreds of critters with them but never could get them to fly with my field points.....The Aero Heads, which I think Trophy Ridge has now are all I will use now.
We actually had a guy kill a Bull Elk with a Homemade long bow and obsidian point
wonder how many times that has happened over the last...6 thousands years.
wonder how many animals have been harvested by a two blade fixed broadhead over the last...?..who knows how many thousand years?
...and then there are these new expandables that have been on the market(ANOTHER gimic) for how long???
I shoot 145gr grizzlies which I do believe are except able in Africa. Are the expandables excepted in Africa...why??
It's this thing called 'reliability'!
If you shoot expandables you shoot an unreliable broadhead.
Argue it all you want...

I shoot them with a blunt tip... I hit the deer, arrow bounces off, deer runs away, I dont have to clean chit. They work everytime... LOL

ya know...the Good Lord knew we were going to need to hunt game to provide for our families (years ago that is) and He said ,"hey Dude, there's this rock over there, it's sharper then anything else on the face of My earth..."
I don't think the guy dug up a Rage..?...for some reason lol.
Some day I would like to learn to knap and shoot a deer or elk with Obsidian.

only pimp daddies shoot deer with obsidian!! ha ha ha ha ha

what about 100gr nap thunderheads??
Thats what I started hunting with about 20 years ago. I took a chance and bought some mechanical broadheads when they first came out. Rocket heads I think. Anyway I lost the first deer I shot with them. Went right back to the Thunder head and have had great luck with them every since.

I think you just have to find what point works best for you and gives you the most confidence then stick with it.

Why would I frown?
I never said Rages wouldnt do the job, just that they don't do it any better than any other head. That and they have a history of failures, but that's also what happens when a lot of people use them.
I'm actually a GrimmReaper shooter, I've always liked front deploy mechanicals and GRs are devistating and u will have to search real hard to find anyone say they've had one fail.
Here is the havoc a Reaper causes

And that's not even the 2" WT specials.
Finally someone talking about a quality broad head...Grim Reapers are NASTY!!!

X2 I got some from a sales rep back in the early 80's and put them to the test. They are my point of choice and to this day I've never lost or broken a blade. That may be due to me being a picky forker because I absolutely will not shoot unless I have the deer right.
No mechanical points-hunting or fishing- for me since they are born to fail sooner or later.

I think I remember seeing them. I shoot 125's. Some of mine are black and some are silver but I can't remember which ones are older. I'm thinking the black ones are older but can't be sure.

I've tried a few different ones in the past and can tell about as many failure stories as I can success stories. After all that bullchit I wouldn't be caught dead shooting another expandable.Slick Tricks are the best head made period and anyone that says any different hasn't used them or is a complete idiot.I don't know how many deer I've killed with a bow but it's WAY over 100.Last year was a slow year for me but I still probably killed a dozen with my bow. This year I've passed on at least 30 chip shots on does and young bucks already but I've killed 5 already and have yet to draw on a doe.Rage's were designed for weekend warriors that are piss poor shots and they are a pretty good choice of broadhead for those people.

Slick Tricks look good! :tu:

They look alot like the Rocket Aero Heads with Bacon skinner blades that Trophy Ridge sells now...thats what I shoot and will always

I think the Black ones are older Walt. When I started shooting the above points I traded all of My T.H's away.I think I had 3 or 4 dozen
