Well guys I shot some freezer meat today (2.5 year old doe), A lot of guys said give them another try maybe it was a fluke, It wasn't
The Shot:
slight quartering towards me, entry was in threw the meat on the back of the front leg (Meat no done) into the chest cavity and out 2/3 down 1/2 back on other side. Was a complete pass threw shot, perfect double lung! Deer went about 40 yards and dropped leaving a decent blood trail.
The BAD:
The entry hole threw the muscle was Huge! As happen with last deer as soon as the head entered the chest cavity it only made hole the size of my finger, same on exit! on the entry it did take a small chip out of the rib. This time when I pulled the arrow out of the ground the Broadhead looked perfect, NO bends or breaks but the blades were in an X shape!

I will have more picture proof tomorrow I will post up! Not sure what the problem is but their is one!!!

^^^ I see for 2012 Easton and Blood Runner have a joint arrow point combo coming out with Stainless inserts instead of alum. I think they are calling it "Deep Six" should be interesting!

Sounds like one of "those" movies with the bad actors and even worse plots... just sayin

Disclamer: do not google "deep 6" at work or in front of your family! again, just sayin

Please clarify....you are not shooting the original blades? If you are you should have your lis. pulled
Maybe they should pull my license. I even shave with the same razor until I cant stand IT!!! I havnt heard any complaints all the deer are stone dead. Only one made it out of sight. How much faster they need expire?

..there is no reason for hunting with a dull broadhead, and no excuse. Are you gonna keep doing till you lose one?Thats unacceptable

Come on kuger get off the dudes back. Don't take this personal but you throwing the word "my clients" this and that don't mean anything. I know how you California guys are i wont hold it against you though. You just posted a Pic of a girl shooting a 40 lb bow, well on our ranch we would consider that unnaceptable, 60 lbs or more is what we allow. And your not some type of animal police telling people it's unacceptable to shoot a mechanical broadbead is unacceptable IMO. I understand you don't like them, that's fine. I guess your sometype of an outfitter or something but You don't have a right to bust this guys balls on what broadhead he uses and how dull they are. Im not trying to be a dick but come on man, just because you tell your clients what to shoot doesn't make them any better than any other broadhead ever made.

You guys like slick tricks, then shoot them no ones gonna tell you not to. I choose not to bc
If you like rages then shoot them, and no one but Kuger is going to tell you your unethical.

I've killed deer with just about every broadhead made. I've only lost two deer in my life and both were my fault. One was a bad shot, the other deflected off a branch. Just gotta find what works for you and what doesn't. And TTG, I'm not just a weekend warrior Im in the woods quite a bit and rage is what I shoot. I've shot muzzys for years and even still do from time to time. I'd say the 20+ pros that endorse them aren't weekend warriors either

Well bud,I am going to bite my lip......and not say 3/4 of what I would like to.If your women can pull 60 lbs...then I must ask do they shave?FYI,I have killed Bull elk with a 40 lb recurve and a sharp broadhead. Was I an outfitter?Yes,did I hunt for the Gov. for a living?Yes,I state that so "hobbyists",like your self can grasp how somebody could do what I have(%99 of you have no clue)So unlike somebody that goes out hunting every weekend,or a couple hours after work,I have seen what works and what does not.I do live in California but was taught from a very young age to treat your prey with all the respect the deserve,so whats that say for you or anybody else that will go out and half azz it?Do you load your bullets with half a charge?Didnt think so.Seeing how what each and every sportsman does and puts on the internet reflects directly back to each and everyone of us I will jump on anybody that I please.I could give two chits what anybody shoots but do care about ETHICS,study up on those yourself Scooter

My dad and I both shoot rage 3 blades and have had great luck with them until last sunday. My dad shot a very large buck and hit him a lil far back. We did have a great blood trail for over 400 yds but lost it in picked beans.
Not sure that we can blame it on the broad head. The shot placement was not right, he just screwed up to put it honestly.
But up till then we have had good clean kills all with great blood trails.
As far as them being for weekend warriers that cant shoot. I shoot very good, but I have only ever shot expandables. When I got started bow hunting a buddy recomended NAP sidewinders and I killed a bunch of deer with them.
Then when rage came out a buddy of mine that shoots on White Tail Freaks was sponsered by them and ended up really liking them, he recomended em to me and I have used em ever since.
Mabe I am missing out not using a fixed blade broadhead, IDK, but I have only lost a very few deer after huntin them for alot of years. The ones that I lost was from bad shot placement, either the deer moving prior to impact or me just f-ing it up.
IMO somone that says that they have never made a bad shot on a deer has either not shot very many, is very very lucky or is a liar. Now before someone trys to eat me up on that statement, Im sure that several of you can shoot a bow better than me, but we are all shooting at a target that you have no guarentee will remain static prior to the arrow arrival. Chit does happen, but I always try to make good shots and not take chances with low percentage shots.
