I agree shoot sharp broadheads, think of it like this, u shoot a deer quartering away, you're arrow doesn't go all the way through you cut one lung because of the angle, now if you're broadhead is lazer sharp like it supposed to be there is no issue, everytime he moves he is being sliced over and over, he will run 100yds max and die. On the other hand if its dull you now have a problem. I know this from my own experience, back when I started bow hunting I was shooting 55lbs with aluminum arrows tipped with thunderheads, anyway I shot a cow elk at 30yds perfectly broadside my arrow got maybee 4inch of penetration, my heart sunk. She ran 30 yds and fell over dead, when I gutted her it looked like a bomb went off in her chest. Simply because I had sharp broadheads and she was being cut every step with large big game I think its really important too have sharp blades. One of my dads buddys from illinois came out here to hunt elk, he insisted on a high tree stand, well he shot a bull straight under him like he would any deer, he one lunged this big bull, we tracked him for two days and never found him, point being never cut you're chances in half .

I shoot muzzy mx4, I never tracked anything over 60yds this year with massive blood trails. Including a 5by6 bull elk that was quartering too me, complete pass through at 65yds, blood trail my 105 year old grandma could have followed

That's because slingbows are gay!! They should rename them the Petter Puffers Wrist Rocket.. At the very least they should have a disclaimer stating "Sling bows may be hazardous to your sexuality".. However you like it and keep using it which makes me think you might not suck a rooster but you'd sure lay it in your mouth!! All I'm say'n BD is ya better get rid of that thing before your farts start smelling like semen!!

Ok here are pics form the doe yesterday:
Same results as last deer, Huge hole in muscle but as soon as the broadhead entered the chest cavity and passed throw the rib cage the hole were very small, the entry side I actually had to force my finger into the whole the exit was a bit larger, about the size of my thumb!
ENTRY OUTSIDE (Threw meat on front leg into chest)

If yall just shot a rifle yall wouldn't have these problems :)
Come on Brady... If everyone shot rifles I would be out of Business... It's hard to sell arrows to a guy with a rifle!!!

kinda off topic but you want to do a cool impact test, take a 5 gallon pale fill it with sand, then shoot it with what ever caliber deer rifle you shoot and see how far the bullet goes in the sand. then take your hunting bow and shoot an arrow into the pale and see how much farther the arrow goes than the bullet, you will be suprised. something to do when your bored

I agree with KY g5 t3 looks like the way to go all the deer i have seen shot with them have massive damage all the way thru em .I see about 50 to 75 bow kills every season and the most impressive to me were 2 g5 t3 kills and a blood runner kill they all had huge entrance and exit wounds but werent any more dead than the ones that were shot with a broadhead from walmart. I find broadheads in rifle kills every year most have been the expandables that didnt open .

I personally have done tests on shooting the 2 blade rages because I heard about the problems with the blades opening. I will tell you it makes no differnce in accuracy out to 40 yards (maybe further, but that's where I stopped). Excuses for bad shots are a dime a dozen. I think they fly like field points and i don't have to make any adjustments from field tip to broadhead. People have been killing animals for centurys with bows, its all a matter of shot placement. Doesnt matter if its a slick trick, rage, or a hand made flint on a cedar shaft.

I shot 2 deer with 3 blade Rage's and neither bled well at all, and that and flight were why I wanted to try them. I went back to Muzzy 3 blades and get twice as many for the price, and have destroyed a shoulder blade with them, and I havent had a flight problem with them either, so for the money I will stick with the muzzy's. I had no problems with the Rages flight at all and they killed deer no problem but not enough of an improvement to justify the cost to me.
