I actually would like to know what some people do when your gone for a 3-4 days camping somewhere several hours away from home? I never did see anything like this on the old site and if I come home I have a place to dispose of them easily, but does anyone else really do this, take camping/bowfishing trips and if so how do you go about disposing of fish then? I thought about calling the game warden around the area's where I'm planning on doing this to see if he could help?

Heck get creative fillet them out and give them away to people and say its catfish or Striper! lol after you clean them through the remains back in the water like every other Rod and Reel fishermen does…That’s what I would do if there was absolutely no way of disposing your fish…

You may not be able to do this if your camping, but we give all of ours to a hog farm and the hogs freaking love it. They can eat 60 fish in less than an hour. Also check your state laws but some places you can slit the fishes gut and sink them legally.

Im gonna try to find a hog farmer this year, I cant eat em as fast as I shoot em and the freezers full. Actually just tired of having to bury. I have a family farmer thats a hog farmer and thought thats the perfect place for em but he claims his hogs wont eat em. Never heard of such a thing. Must be smarter than I give em credit for lol

I put them in the middle of a busy highway at the bottom of a hill and wait for the kitty cats to come for a snack.. That's some good beer drink'n entertainment right there!!!

if i was gonna go through the trouble of cleaning them then i would keep them myself. i'm just not a big fan of cleaning them, pain in the a**. i'll have to check into the sinking idea.
That's illegal in Missouri. If you're gonna split them and sink them you better have permission and the name/s of the C.O. that gave you permission.Either that or make real sure nobody's around to see you when you do it.It is however legal to throw them up in the brush on Corps land.
