I'm a big fish kinda guy. Unless there is nothing else to shoot at.

Dont get me wrong. Thats all we will be shooting this year is numbers. Just nice to know if there is the option it is there.

 

To me it all depends on the time of year it is. That's the biggest factor to me.

 

I like numbers cause we get to shoot more. I hate passing up fish all night looking for big ones. But I like numbers shoots with pots for big fish and/or big 5.
Small fish pots are fun on gar shoots.

 

I have always shot big fish tournaments but the last couple years been shooting numbers we seem to be having more fun.

big 10 or 20....i dont like numbers bc the way i look at it is that it aint bass fishing to where we throw them back so i personally think taking just a small amount of fish to keep a good shootable population...just my .02

shoot anything that wiggles. Numbers, Big 20, Big 10, Big 607, it dont matter to me.

I'm not going to get into this to deep, but it also takes skill to find big fish, stick them and land them. But there is no sense throwin stones because you prefer one way over the other.

I just like to shoot fish and if it's a straight up big fish shoot I'm out because it's not worth the cost to me to shoot just a few. Split division shoots are always good and they draw in more teams.

 

Prefer numbers,but a couple big fish shoots each year is fun also.
