Depends on the location. Some lakes don't support a big fish shoot. Some don't support a numbers shoot.

 

Numbers....with an optional big 2/5/10 sidepot but love numbers

 

Numbers its more fun because if I see something its real hard not to shoot

 

It doesn't matter to me I just like to shoot some fish big or small

 

i like to shoot tournaments been to numbers, total weight, big 5 , big 20, even big 1 & big 3 as long as it's compitition i'm in. For better outdoors take a kid hunting & fishing it's our future. randy

 

I just like to kill....small, big, a lot, a little. There's skill in both classes.

 

I like to just stack em up also. Im just wanting to get a good all around from every one. Im putting on the Cajun and the Ky state shoot and just wanted to see what most like for TOURNAMENTS.

 

i prefer big 20 or 10. . don't mind numbers as long as it's not a shad fest

big XX. Dont care to bust ass all night and try to shoot as many times as I can, makes it more work than fun for me.

I can go to a big XX tourney and shoot extra fish all I want if im bored, thats why side pots are nice

Total weight or numbers. Seem to see a lot of fish floating after big 10 or 20 shoots in my state. People start culling fish to gain weight, gives bowfishing a bad name when theirs fish with holes floating around.

 

Just because its big 20 doesnt mean you cant have more than 20 in the boat, I see no reason to throw out fish

I like the points system where u take ur 5 biggest fish and u take the weight of them five and u multiply it times two, then u count ur total amount and added it to the big five that was times two and thats ur score...:cf: that chit was going around in east Texas a few years back... I like numbers...I can't figure out how to win a big 20 yet...I think I need a few more years of experience...

 

Personally I think a point system sucks ass but that's just my opinion. I think If you're going to make it a big fish shoot then just make it one and don't sugar coat it. I like DWO's idea. A total weight shoot would be the best of both worlds. Kill em' all and let the ***** & buzzards sort them out down at the landfill or turn them into fertilizer or whatever. :tu:

Numbers with cash/prizes for Big Fish in all categories, plus Big Fish Side Pot. That's how I do it at the HBC shoots. Makes for a lot of winners.
