Ok....... I can this this is never gonna go away.


So here it is

Michael evans lost his cool and hit the host of the event. He was arrested for it and banned from BFC because of it.

I was not there but have heard from several witnesses that he crossed the line. Was there a mistake made during the weighing? I don't know I wasn't there, but regardless that is no reason to come to blows.

Something similar happened a few back at the worlds and it gave our sport a black eye...... Which is why I've been working overtime trying to contain this crap. But I see it's not going anywhere without some kind of explanation. People make mistakes, it happens but when you cross that line in a public place, in front of families, kids and the general public? There is gonna be repercussions and not just for the person who threw the punch, we all suffer.
The park wasn't very happy about the issue, the host is tossing around calling it quits(as far as hosting the event) and it makes us all look like a bunch of ******* hotheads who can't control themselves.

Nothing good comes from crap like this, and that's why the other threads were removed and that's why Michael was banned.

I saw the whole thing from 5 feet away,It looked fair to me,and I didn't see the need for that type of conduct with families and non-bowfishers in the presence!In actuality even if something did happen to the tare of the scales 5lbs. wouldn't have changed the outcome anyway in any position!I quite bass fishing because this type of stuff,and want to get my 12 year son and wife into it,I hope to shoot next year there,Other than the poor conduct and turn out I thought the event was really fun,We didn't do worth a hoot but had a good tome!Thanks to all who made this event happen!
