What kind of radio system do you guys use in you boat I was wanting something portable so I don't have to wire in a stereo and speakers...anyone else do this? Thanks

I ran a dewalt construction box strapped to the back seat last year. This year I mounted a marine amp and 2 6x9 speakers and just used a 3.5mm to RCA adapter to connect my iPhone to the amp. I can play my music list or pandora.

I just have a cheap dual audio stereo and it works decent. Speakers aren't that great but I'm only out $30 for the speaker if someone decides they need them more then me

Just an old car stereo with a marine speaker and antennae. Set-up so we can just plug in the 2 wires to power or remove all at once.

I run a kenwood set up from bass pro caught it in their outlet store for 100 bux comes with a waterproof radio and two waterproof speaker mounted speakers forward facing on my console and can hear them over my fan and genny been a good lil setup

I built one of these, I use it on the boat and on 4wheeler rides. All it is, is an 200w amp inside a footlong piece of 6" pvc and 2 - 90's on the ends....6.5" speakers mount perfectly in them. aux cord goes straight from phone to the amp.

^^ used an amp similar to this one....I believe the one I had was a pyramid but it was very close to this one

and I just got the cheapest 6.5" marine speakers that the local walmart had
