Im going to be starting on my new deck and was wondering what size decks everyone has? I'm thinking of going with a 6'x6' on a 1852 Jon. Any suggestions?

We have a 7 foot wide by 6 foot deep deck. It fishes 4 people perfect.

my deck is 7 1/2 foot front to back and just a touch over 7 foot at the back which is the widest it follows the taper of the boat to the front

on my 16 x 48 I have a Raised 5ft deck with a 2 ft flush on the back... my new boat will be a 18 x 52 with a 9ft flush deck...

1872 SeaArk with a 7ft flush deck. Seems about right-almost with I woulda made it a foot shorter just for more floor space. But when I'm fishing 4 people I'm glad it's big.

Your 6' should be good.

I would think that would fish 2 pretty comfortably. I mean, you couldn't dance up there or anything but you'd have some room.
