Should I go with a 50 hp yamaha to save money or go with the 70hp. Its for my 1760. What would be my best choice.

your always going to want more HP if you go with that 50... I would just spend more money and get the bigger Motor...
ALWAYS go as big as the manufacture will allow.
if you load it down you don;t want to have to run it wide on to get where u are going!
your mpg will suck azz..as I found out.

I have a 40 on my 1860 because i got a DEAL on it! It gets me around but i am lookin at 90-115 motors now! That 40 is just not enough and im sure a 50 wouldnt be much better!
