An aluminum flats scooter! 1/8" hull, full deck over, tunnel hull, gator glide bottom, atlas micro jacker, poling platform and knee rails around the front.

 

1872, 26" sides, 7' platform slightly raised enough to get the 8 400w hps custom housings under. Mod V, 112 # terrova for shooting for fun or with the not seasoned bowfishermen and a 15 horse mercury kicker on the back to use for tournaments and fishing more seriously. Troller setup to a quick attach/release. Push/pull steering for the kicker which is also removable if using the troller. I'd like a fan but can't have those in Minnesota... Now if we could get a fan to run at 52 decibels then that'd what if have! Am I missing anything else?

if I had to have an outboard on my dream boat because ya'll know I like dual mud motors it would be a 1684 with 30'' sides except for the deck the sides would go up to 36" and a removeable kicker and a removeable fan for deep and shallow water shooting and enough 400 hps to blind the fish lol

 

id probably build one of each and try them all ...... never been on or seen an air boat or a fan or a kicker boat. then just keep the one i like best

I want an 1872 mod v with a flat front. Removable troller mounted in the center of the front deck and removable kicker fan. 6-8ft flush mounted deck. 12" walk arounds(I don know if this will work on a mod v). Fully enclosed led light mounts on the front under the knee rail. Plus 2 powermax converters all powered by 2 honda eu2000s.

 

What about a kicker boat with a 50hp kicker?

 

It would be a 1772 slick bottom with 28" sides .125 bottom w/ .100 sides, a flush 7' deck with notch for fish barrel in the back, 14" walk-arounds with storage inside, a bow compartment under the deck, washdown pump, twin bilge pumps on independent circuits with float switches, maxitout led anchor light, 9.9hp kicker with push pull steering, 8 - 100w hps colored leds mounted under a round tube rail ran off of a 2000w inverter generator, sitting on a tandem axle aluminum trailer with brakes and sealed LED lights, wetsounds audio system, twin power poles on the back, 80lb hand steer trolling motor on a quick release to install when your going to be fishing in a super shallow rocky area, 2 powermax converters, extra 2000w generator to bring when you are taking the troller, two huge drain holes in the back, RGB interior lights, hydroturf on the deck and walk arounds, grab bar/leaning post to hold on while driving the 50hp tiller, gps/depth finder mounted on the grab bar, cup holders mounted everywhere, generator mount on the opposite side of the kicker on the back deck that has one side on it to help block sound between generator and front of boat.....I just realized that my future build is going to be really expensive!

I LOVE that bottom boat!!!! The Texas coast has 1,000's of miles of shallow bays. These bays have natural channels that cross cross through them. Fish use these channels as highways. You can run 2 miles of bay in less than a foot of water to find a 3' deep channel full of red fish. They also shine when the tide strays out and you find yourself In a bind. YouTube mowdy s 10 and you can see good examples of what a flats rig is made for and can do.

 

We are building a 16x76 started as a 1652. It's a bath tub lol

 

A outboard would be cool on this boat but we scored a 4.3 v6 direct drive airboat setup for it for 150 bucks. That's the reason we used acheap jon boat. Ultimate budget airboat build should have less than 2000 in it. Going to use it to run the river all sand bottom.

 

hope you are putting polly on that if you are running sand bottom. That thin gauge bottom will wear through pretty quick IMO.

Already sunk it once when it was a 1652 at the boat ramp. I have a kicker boat I fish out of. This boat is like that cheap car you buy and you drive the crap out of it and dont worry to much about it.

 

Pretty sure a pocket tunnel 1260 deck over is going to be my winter project.
