******* air boats ..... Small company which usually means great customer service and from what I hear they do have that, and any body that tries to start a buisnes in today's economy is usually going to try 10 times harder on customer service and quality of their product than the older buisnes .... And from what I hear they make some bad Azz boats and are great guys just my 2 cents
I have been looking for a builder for over a year now, most serious about it within the last 6 weeks. By no means have I talked to every builder and I decided an airboat just wasn't for me, so that ruled out at least one company that only does airboats. I can tell you that based on response time to bid inquires, there are many builders I simply would not use no matter how good their boat is. If you can't respond to a request for bid or info, then IMO, you either don't want the business or you don't know how to run a business and I am not interested in either of those scenarios.

Some of the points made in this quote factored into my decision to use ******* to build my next boat. Everyone involved with them has been top notch so far. They have been up front with the timeframe of when they can start my boat (4 weeks from time of decision) and I was ok with that.

This boat build has incorporated ******* as an Aim Low sponsor - everyone should know that. However...other companies made some offers that we turned down, and yes, plenty of my own money is still at stake. Also, rather than dismiss my choice because it involves a sponsorship, one should keep in mind that it took some ballz to take on this build knowing that the build itself, the time involved, and the final product will be on display for everyone to see, not just the bowfishing community. Quite frankly, this scared at least two builders off.

There have been some real life horror stories about some crooks posing as legit business owners building boats, that's for sure. I have a contract with ******* and feel completely comfortable about my choice and can't wait for the project to begin!

I would go with someone that would start and finish the boat without a big down payment. I know that some will not start a boat without half down, but unless it's a total custom job they only thing you should pay up front is for the extra custom work. When was the last time you put haft down when you order a new truck, had a house build or any other big ticket item?

Well said Robin. I have my eye on them thats for sure. I simply will not recomend something that I personally have not laid eyes on yet, just dont want things to bit me in my butt one day down the road. I am eager to see some of the ******* boats in person. Pictures just do no do quality and craftsmanship justice...

They seem to be doing pretty well for themselvs so far, so if they keep up the good customer service and work ethic, their business will get stronger and stronger thats a fact.

This is the biggest reason that chad and I did not get a boat from some of the "popular" builders on here, one in particular was nearly impossible to get a hold of.

I can tell you that I am CHEERING for a new airboat company to get off the ground and get some experience under their belts. There is a real market for the Silver Dollar basic design out there. Ol Speed may be a crock but that rascal actually knew what it took to build a sturdy boat that would perform.
I have nothing against the new guys! I am just waiting to see what happens before throwing my name in with them. Anyone remember RedRiver and Texoma boats? Lots of folks on here hooping about how great they were and the DID turn out a few nice boats. Then BAM the same old song and dance ponzi scheme.
