Ive never really used a bow other than bowfishing or shooting some targets in my spare time with free bows that have been givin to me in the past. Im thinking of trying bowhunting this year but dont really wanna put a ton of money in to begin with since i havent done it before. I do gun hunt but only when i get invited to somebody's club and bow hunting would open up alot more properties for me to try that i cant shoot with a gun.
So what im wondering is what would a good starter bow for some one without a whole lot of experiance with a bow? Im looking to spend maybe $500 new or used. what would be my best bet? I went to a shop and they were showing me some mission bows that were ready to shoot for a little over $500. What other brands and models should i look at?
