Im fixin to get the 6000watt champion and run 9 300's with it and 2 converters

Flickering... well its gonna take a good expensive generator to get rid of that flickering.

Your gonna need clean power from an inverter type generator to cure that problem

Honda or Yammaha you pick the poision, but your gonna need a bit more money.

700 bucks will get you a bigger generator, but it probably wont cure the flickering.

i can make the flickering minimal by opening the choke up a hair and making the genny run smoother but was looking for a genny that wouldnt have that problem. and i was afraid i was gonna have to buy and inverter style genny but ill have to go bigger than a honda eu2000i

What am I looking for not sure what to tighten up
its by the carb and is on a spring that runs the throttle it will get jumping and then your light get dull then bright does youe genny go waawaaawaaa instead of a constant waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

its kinda rough running when the lever that goes from choke to run is all the way to run but when i move it slightly toward choke it smooths out

sounds like its getting too much air? why not just keep it and leave the choke where it does best? i love my champion gennerator...
well i may still keep it because when it smooths out the flicker is only minimal and you cant tell unless you look down at the light itself but out away from it you cant tell. so im gonna hook them all up and hit the water and see how it is
