think i estimated mine at about 190 lbz.

 

What size fan, boat do you have? Tandom?

 

used a v-twin honda ,boat is pictured in bowfishing boats under [test post] page 2 0r 3 section.

 

That is a wild lookin boat you've got there. Mad max style.

 

thanks the bigest mistake in this build is where the fan is placed the pipes were added after the fan was put in the boat it wouldn,t steer was going to have to totally remount the fan or do something thats when i come up with the front rudder setup now i leave fan running straight guide boat with left knee. a fan really needs to be all way back on rear of boat the farthest thing back then would steer good.

 

another idea i have thought about with fans build the bigest one you can [not talking airboat but fan boat] and don,t have a outboard at all would push maybe 8 t0 10 miles per hour tops just gussing but bow fishing is not about speed i don,t think but will let some one else try that idea i,m not left with enough time.

 

Sounds good works Ok. Been on a boat that was like that. Only problem I see is getting from one spot to another takes awhile was on the river and the fan had a hard time going against the currant

 

one could have a small outboard like a kicker to help out the fan like to get up river and fish back also would be good if fan broke on you.
