Go south! I feel your pain brother! Going to be damn near May before we can actually get out on the water! Betting the spawn is going to be late this year too with how long the run off is going to take to fully melt.
Wow and I was *****ing about inches of snow and hard water. Guess were going to have some flooding this year. Sucks for most but if we don't get a ton of rain it backs our creeks and small rivers up and its a good time because they back up clear.
Chilly???? Hell it's 13 degrees, snowing, and windy here today! With the wind chill feeling more like -5 degrees! I'd take 73 and windy any day of the week compared to the crap we got going on here!
Still not a replacement for bowfishing. No matter how you spin it you're still sitting on a chunk of ice. Can't wait to be on a boat again, no matter how cold it will be the first time.
We just got hit with another 10 inches last night, I'm starting to get bored of shooting hay bales. Once I get back from the cabin in Paradise snowmobiling this next week it can all just go away!
That 10 inches isn't going to last long with the rain and 45 degree we are suppose to be getting on Thursday. But next is the flooding from hell! Rivers are going to be dirty all damned year!
it's always dirty anyway. Dirty or not we just need some open water. I cut a new hole for my steering shanty last weekend and 24 inch bar on the chain saw just made it through 22 inch on Potawatomi.
81 in So Cal today, windchill made it feel more like 76 though.
