I do. Same reason as above cant shoot fish with a bow on the bottom of the river.

 

Most people just use slings on hunting bows but it does add some comfort knowing your bow just ain't going to slip out your hand anymore plus if you shoot a heavy bow are a light one we know are hands get tired quick an. An helps take the weight off just you hands so you can relax but another reason it gives you another way to pimp your bow out in another way.

 

Gonna use 1 this year...gettin older and the grip ain't so good anymore! lol

 

I have one of BigReds on my FishHawk.....looks great....may keep me from dropping the bow

 

I have lotsof neonsso can pretty much match up with GG on his strings we will be working together on taking care of our bowfisher family an friends

 

i use one and i just like that i can release the grip and its still connected to me

 

this was the info I was looking for... I started out with one but I always hated it since most of the time I had to set the bow down to bring in fish with the bottle, but I took a spill last year and about lost my $500.00 bow with a 50 lb carp attached...lol... I managed to keep the bow in my hand... but we have been fishing deep water as of late and I would hate to loose one of my bows... Most of my bowfishing bows are very lite but I picked up a few heavy older Oneidas and figure why not dress up the wall queens with some color and help relieve some of the weight when fishing...

 

Just let gargod are me know the colors an will fix u up. I be posting pictures tonight of all the slings gg sales of me.

gonna start too , dropped mine in 20+ foot of water last year if the string wouldnt of got hung up on the troller would of lost it just used the string to pull it off the bottom

 

I use one. Oneidas are not as sexy on the bottom of the river as they are in you hand

 

I have fished with and without one and I like using one. Just feels more comfortable and I like knowing im not going to drop my bow in the water.

 

me and the wife have bigred's on our bow, will be on my new oneida when i get it here, it makes the long night of holding the bow a little easier

 

Use one on the Drenalin when hunting, but never tried one out bowfishing. Might have to look into that.

i do... i like having it there just incase i drop it so i dont have to dive in to get it and it does hurt ny wrist after a while

 

After seeing my teammates bow get yanked from his hand by a bighead, I will have a sling on my bow this year. Hell, I may figure out a way to put a float on the damn thing.

I've always shot with an open grip in comps and hunting so a sling just made sense... Why would I not use one on my bowfishing bow as well? No reason to change my form.

 

Nope. Never dropped a bow in the water in 20 years of bowfishing. I did tip one out of the canoe one time but that doesn't count.
