I started a couple years ago, I'm 60 now. I've always liked hunting but it just is something I stopped doing because I got sick of being told NO, you can't hunt my land. Everybody and their dog seems to hunt public land so that didn't appeal to me for that reason. I never was really big into fishing but I enjoy the outdoors. One day I was stopped looking off a bridge and spotted a school of Asians in the river. I didn't know what they were at the time but they caught my interest and I started looking a little harder and low and behold I saw some Bigheads close to the bridge. I started thinking I could probably get one if I only had a spear and some line. Then I sobered up and it occurred to me, ha, why not try a bow? Well because I'd never shot a bow, that's why. I bought my first bow and haven't looked back since. I might add that it's a sport that you get out of it what you put into it. I only hope that when I finally go, I go out with a bow in my hand and a smile on my face!
