so he was a little lost and it doesnt give u the right to tell him to be quiet. our money goes to the same place as urs and if it would make u feel better we just wont shoot in the tournaments any more.

i dont want to start any more drama but that just kind of pissed me off.
But he has the right to tell charlie not to come to a shoot because he asked a question, get real guy. This has nothing to do with you guys coming to a shoot at all. And in all honesty which has already been pointed out, nicks post wasnt knowledgeable. (no offense) And from what I recall BAM as a whole is not hurting for money, I'm fairly positive we donated a good chunk of change this spring.. Its already been brought up but if we do finally start getting enough participation at the shoots to waive BAM keeping any money from ENTRY FEES than I think it will help even more with participation. I know it would give us more of an incentive to shoot more shoots next year if we had a chance to win a bit more dough.. Who wouldnt like that?

Charlie, I'm sure you're not purposely trying to do this in your post and I am sure if this were a conversation in person this entire pissing match wouldn't have happened but honestly it seems like your complaining about not having enough winnings at the shoots which can be viewed by some as a dickish thing to say. I understand your concern, just gotta explain your concern a bit more to avoid miscommunications that would cause this. As far as BAM keeping entry fee money, has anyone ever thought of an end of the tournement season banquet where we can get together and look back on the season, recognize all the hard work from the people who run BAM. Maybe have a 50/50 raffle, recognize the team of the year, etc? Throughout all the athlects and clubs I have been a part of they always seem to have something like this. I've been a member of BAM for three years now and I haven't heard of anything like this taking place. I could be misinformed but if we are having money left over why don't we put something like this on. It would give us all one more reason to get together to BS and have a good time. Then, the little bit in entry fee kept would not only pay for the tournement expenses but put the excalmation point on the season with a nice banquet to celebrate the success. Any thoughts on this?

Sounds great! I nominate you as the official BAM Party Planner. Set it up and let us know where to meet. Congrats on the new position and thanks for stepping up! :tu:

You have my vote.

Hey I have no problem setting this up if I have some commitment out of the elected individuals and the general BAM population as a whole but I'm not gonna waste my time, just as none of you should or would, on three guys showing up and having to foot that bill. Brian G, I am actually serious about doing something like this, we could make it a benefit type event also since BAM is a non-profit organization this could be a good way to raise money for more youth shoots or activities to get the kids involved in our sport. I'm trying to help grow the sport and outdoors activities among our youth just as you all are but I can't do it alone. None of us can or should have to do this alone, we are all part of the same team with the same goals. Brian, and everyone else involved in BAM, pm me if you have any sort of interest in this at all. If I can get a proper estimation then I will pursue this further.

Sounds like a plan. Now time for prmotions. I'll put something together along the lines of a banner/ flyer. Steve, I'll shoot you a copy of the flyer, if you could possibly send it out in a newletter and post it on the BAM board at the tournements that would be out best bet to get the best turn out possible. Again, if anyone has any ideas or input on how to makes this a huge success they would be greatly apperciated.

thanks buddy. I've got a pretty goos idea of where I am going with it. Just have to get the ducks in a row.
