Got the boat stripped of carpet, prepped, primed, and no slip coating applied. Then got called out of town for what looks like a 50+ day hitch.....
Torture!

Ha ha, just when you're having fun you get yanked away! Oh well, look at it this way, the job pays for your hobbies too.

That's right eshaw. Fun thing about oil and gas, you either have plenty of money and no time, or tons of time and no money.....
That's what they say anyway. I sock plenty away for the down times. My last year and a half off was awesome!!! But we are back at it for now.

That is quite the project. Nice job

I was able to complete my battery box it's the box behind the council.

Put kill switches on both the batteries for the lights and motor battery with a self over the light batteries to mount the charger.

Took it out for the first time last Saturday. Ran half the lights for 2.5hrs and the trolling motor on the same batteries. The volt meter only dropped 0.5v. I was leery at buying the batters that I did to run the lights and trolling motor, but now I'm completely confidant in the set up.
Added a 100w light on both sides on the back deck incase we have an extra shooter.
