What size wire are y'all running from your batteries to your troller? I've ran 8ga the last few years, but I just ordered some converters and am going to redo all my wiring. Was wondering if you guys run anything bigger or smaller. I've heard 4ga but then I've also read people use 10ga... Im going to have about 15ft feet between my batteries and troller... 24v troller

I'd run at least 8ga. I have 6ga running in mine

10ga aluminum cable is rated for 25amps at 60 degrees and up. coper cable is rated for 30 amps. 8ga is rated for 10 amps more. so just to be safe i'd go with 8ga even tho 10 would most likely work

I just looked at that the other day, but I was looking at the LED wiring diagrams, didn't even realize the wire charts were there... my bad.. But THANKS!!

Ps whoever sold you converters should be able to answer that , or at least point you in the direction to find the info

I used 4 ga welding lead it was cheaper

I have a 20 ft Ranger. I have 6ga running to my XI5 80# Pin point MG. Do not be afraid to go big. You loose less and runs cooler.

I was incorrect on my wire size. Just rechecked. I am running 2 ga from the Batteries and rewired the motor with 4ga running from plug in to the motor.
