hate to break it to ya bud but 200 fish out of 4 boats......thats pretty dam chitty definitely grounds for shad to be shot i think you need to hitch a ride on one of the boats in your so called "tournaments" and see wat tournament bowfishing really is this ain't your bass masters....

BC - I think the intentions are great and I hope they keep trying it. Personally having grown up there, I just think the timing sucks. And I just don't feel too good about depleting a dried up stinking dead fish spillway area of fish anymore than it always is already that time of year.

I totally agree with you. But I grew up there and I'm allowed to have an opinion on here as best as I can figure. I've read a lot on here and read a lot where people offer up an opinion on when these shoots should take place. I'm only doing that. I'm offering up my opinion and I'm offering it up to someone trying to host a tourney that has never bowfished before. I fished tourney's there years ago. Now that bowfishing is big and it's all coming back, I think it's a great thing and I'm behind it 100% and will support it all that I can. I'm just putting my 2 cents in on when a good time would be to have one there.

This should be a good tournament. I have shot good numbers on this lake both in the spring and late summer so yall give him some support.

lakes good right now boyz, i went there two weeks ago just for a change and because i havent been there in a while. lake is still up pretty good. we shot 147 fish in about 3.5 to 4 hours. i would love to shoot this tournament but have plans already. there should be lots of fish to be shoot. FYI, NON OF THOSE 147 WERE SHAD.

Dude let them run the tournament the way they want. I just dont get, getting on here and bashing them..And you asked a while back what we can do to have higher turnout. Bashing people who are hosting tournaments definitely aint the way to get that done.
