with a 60 amp altinator, would i be able to run 23amps worth of leds and still be able to crank the engine off of one battery?
yet another amp/battery question....

You should not need an extra alternator. The alternator will be running your lights direct just like on a car or truck. The battery will just stay charged all the time. Check the output on your alternator while at an idle. As long as you are putting out enough amps to cover your lights then the battery will except the rest. This should keep it charged.
