I need carp for my bear baiting stations badly, heading up Thursday night (May 26) so will need about 50 carp ASAP. How hard is it to stick them with bow tackle from the shore? I don't have a boat with a motor unfortunately so I can't prowl the banks via boat. I wouldn't mind paying somebody to go fishing either as it seems bow fishing tackle is $150+! Any takers?

if we could get some decent weather, i could probably help you out, but with the current forecast for this week, i dunno what will happen. i'll see if i can find some time to run out wednesday afternoon and see if i can help you out. i'll let you know what i find

I walk every time i go out because i have 0 boats. Knock the hell out of them too. but like he said we need some weather, everywhere I've gone is super murky and the wind makes for white caps. If you're interested though I'll keep you posted and I'll do that chit for free, cause as a bowfisherman I feel i am like a missionary. i fly fish and all that jazz so carp kill my waters. Doing gods work really..

Any help would be appreciated. This crap weather has got to let up sooner or later. If you run out please PM me and I'll come retrieve from you and pay you for your time.

I've never done any bowfishing before so wasn't quite sure what to do and with such limited time I would be very thankful and willing to pay for your fishing time. SAD isn't it? Paying for CARP? I am major flyfishing guru as well, even have a drift boat but don't think it would work to well out on Utah Lake.

Yahtahay,
First off LOVE the screen name and secondly if I make it out anytime soon I'll drop ya pm and let you know where you can pick up some fish!

Josh
Sounds great Josh, anything you can muster up would be appreciated. Just PM me if you get some and I'll pick them up same day/night and tip you for doing so. Thanks.

I rarely make it to utah lake. I am a willard kid. Went south east this weekend and saw maybe five carp. the water was cold and the wind was making for white caps. checked on willard last night and saw all of no carp then it rained on me, the canals out west are flooding into farm fields and dumping carp in them. if i can find out where this is happening I'll be on it like fat kids on sprinkles. Maybe you could come and shoot some with me then you won't have to pay me just bring me the drink of the gods. ( mt dew)

Unfortunately I don't have a bowfishing setup or I'd bet out there right now walking the banks in waders. Do you have two bows?

Wish you were in Kentucky i could use a new place of offload my fish lol! My shovel getting a work out now that i am renting!
