20 yards is a long shot for me. I usually dont take far shots but if I know I cant get any closer I like to throw a few out there now and again cuz hey, your not gonna kill a fish if you dont shoot at it.

I agree with brady! 20 an 25 yrd shots?? Ha y'all need to start bringing range finders on the boat!!!! I'm no sayin that shot hasn't been made b4 but it don't happen on a regular basis 4 sure!!

If you don't shoot at it then you can't hit it. I have run out of line slinging arrows.
An then by the time it takes u to reel all 25 yrds of line in, u could've just waited until u got close enough to hit the fish.......

The last two trips was bank fishin and all shots were at that range (on carp) out of the (plus or minus) 100 shots I took I only stuck 7 fish. Of course I'm a crappy shot lol.

Nice shots, but man Id have a headache after a night of bowfishing on that boat! That fan is loud! I love the lighting coverage though!
the fan isn't bad..... that was the old generator! luckily we upgraded to a honda eu..... i can't tell you how many nights i fell asleep with my head on that old generator though....

Tough girl here! I had a 6500 watt Briggs and Stratton generator that sounded like that. After 3 trips it had to go!

If you shoot rolling gar, you're bound to have to take some long shots. They don't always roll right by the boat.

Them big grassies when they're all schooled up in the shallows sucking moss make for some loong shots too. They spook way too easy so you gotta take what you can get.
