Come on guys put this one on your schedule!!!! This lake is the largest lake in Indiana at 10,500 acres!!! It has nice commons in the 10-15 pound range and lots of them. This lake could easily hold 20 plus teams. It's just as good as Patoka lake. Let's get a team count of who wants to shoot!!! There is always room for 2nd place for ya!! Haha!!

The "Challenge" is to see if the Fin-Finder Products can hold up to 9 hours of fishing with out breaking!!!
Sorry to jack your thread but I couldn't stop my self!!! Hope you guys have a great turn out and good weather!!!!

I don't care what it's called I would like to see a good turn out. This lake don't see much pressure and has fairly clear water. 2-3 feet. The more people that shows up means more money in my pocket haha!!!!!

Tim's a bad azz like Donnie Baker... lol Actually partner, Lake Wawasee is the largest natural lake in Indiana. That's why you have me, to get your back when you need it... lol

Ha, I learn something new everyday, I thought Monroe was the largest also. Thanks for the support Tim We look forward to beating you, or maybe if things work out we will win it together!

Monroe is the largest, just not a natural lake lol

That is correct. Monroe is technically Indiana's largest lake (man made reservoir) @ 10,750 surface acres. Lake Wawasee is somewhere around 3,000+ surface acres making it Indiana's largest ”natural” lake.

Lake Monroe is a great lake for commons. We shot an 18 lb common on video this past May which is a personal best for us on that lake. I did hear that the water is finally getting back down close to normal pool. Majority of this year, Monroe was probably double its normal size. We were fishing in the tree tops this spring down there. The spot we were bowfishing in was about 12-16 feet above where it normally was. The water developed a deep brownish, red coloration to it from all the exposure to dead leaf litter and vegetation not normally accessible by the water level. I guess all of the tannins leaching out of the dead leaves, decaying logs, fresh growth etc are what caused the color change. Then it stopped raining and things got kind of stagnant. I haven’t been back down there since early June. It should be getting much better by now. We are planning on attending this shoot. It's nice to see some local tournaments in our area of the state.

Monroe is at normal summer levels now and they're not letting any water out (56cfms.) it should be cleared up good.

Andy-

Glad to hear you guys are shooting the tournament, look forward to seeing ya. carpcrazy we will see you at the HBC this Saturday, maybe things will work out for ya and you can make it to our shoot on Monroe.

With gas prices so high would More teams show up if entry fee was $50 per boat instead of $75??? Sometimes quantity is better that quality!!!! Haha...
