That may be exactly what I need to do.. which was the whole point of this post.... What could I be missing as to why I'm not getting 55#'s... And as I asked first off.... Is it safe to put a set of 50-70# limbs on here and shoot it at 60#'s?

Just an FYI, we didn't sell the bow but you do realize the limbs are now 30/50 or close. The decals still read 35/55 but they only come 30/50 now. It is not uncommon to have a variance in limb weight and scales for that mater. I have seen as low as 46 and as high as 53 come in, also 1 more thought, did you adjust the weight? They do not come maxed out from the factory!!! Hope that helps!

Not for me!! The point is I bought a damn bow that states it's 35-55 pounds and it left the factory this way.. And has not been changed.. But it maxes out at 45#'s!! I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT IF I HAD KNOWN IT WOULD NOT PUT OUT 55#'s!! It really doesn't matter what anyone else likes or prefers... I wanted and bought a bow that says it will shoot 55#'s but it WILL NOT!! I don't care if it's an onieda or a stick with a shoe string tied on it.. If a company puts a bow out and says it will shoot 55#'s then by god it should shoot 55#'s!!

Why dont you stop crying and call oneida and get another set of limbs... GAH.... U always fly off the handle... Chill and make a simple fix!!

I don't think so.. Everything is color coded the way it should be.. And my brace height is less than 7 inches..So it should be putting out plenty!! And here's the thing skippys brand new osprey is also maxes at 45#'s so it's not like it's just me!!

No doubt, it ought to be remotely close.

I am just currious to know if they stuck the wrong lable on it by mistake when building the bow at the factory. If not and those are infact supposed to be 55 pound limbs, then Oneida should attempt to help make it right. I havent noticed any such problems with any of my oneida bows, they get within 2 pounds of their advertised weights, so thats acceptable to my standards... This however can be a problem if they are infact 55 pound limbs...
