Beaver,
We have a lifetime warranty. Here is the information:
Lifetime Warranty
AREA 5150 guarantees every AREA 5150 Bow to be of quality construction and provides a lifetime warranty against any defects in material and craftsmanship. Every AREA 5150 Bow is numbered and accompanied by a registration card which must be filled out and returned to AREA 5150/Gulfcoast Archery within 14 days after date of purchase. Bows so registered are warranted for the lifetime of the original owner should failure occur.
The warranty does not apply to bows showing signs of misuse, improper stringing and/or cabling, or modification, including repairs or alterations other than by the AREA 5150 Service Center or authorized network. Bowstring and cables are not covered under this warranty. Power limbs do not carry a lifetime warranty, but are also guaranteed from the date of purchase for a period of 7 years against any defects in material and craftsmanship.
If your AREA 5150 Bow has a manufacturer’s defect as covered by our warranty, we will either repair it or replace it, at our option, without charge. Bows must be returned to AREA 5150, at the owner’s expense, for inspection to determine if the warranty is applicable and whether damage determines repair or replacement. Replacement will be made with a bow of the same model and weight unless the model has been discontinued. Should the model be discontinued, it will be replaced with the factory’s current model of similar construction and pricing.
A damaged bow not covered by this warranty can still be repaired. Repair costs and handling charges may apply. Please contact AREA 5150 to determine feasibility of repair and associated costs prior to the return.
AREA 5150 also provides a Warranty Transfer Service. Upon the transfer of an AREA 5150 bow to a new owner, for the price of $50.00 (US Dollars), AREA 5150 will provide this service. This service includes:
· Receipt of used AREA 5150 bow from seller along with transaction details.
· Inspection of the bow, including a re-tune to the buyer’s specifications (within adjustment ranges of original equipment), lubrication, and verification that the bow is in proper operating condition.
· Provide other services at the request of either the buyer or seller at the current rates for parts and labor, as previously arranged and paid for.
· Transfer of bow (including shipping charges within the United States) and warranty to the buyer unless otherwise justified by the bow’s condition.
All returns should be sent to the address below. Please include your name, address, telephone number, and email address (optional), as well as details to the type of service requested.
