I use to fish from a raised deck. After I did my first flush deck, I personally wouldn't go to anything else. But there is advantages in both. The flush gives me more of what I like. Easier to get on. Makes the boat not as tipsy and just seems safer when kids are involved.
I will be going with flush deck. You are right much nicer with kids!

So we are going with dual gator tails like the last boat. With dual steering counsels. I love working with the guys at gator tail and like there product. But they are saying about $7,000 for the dual steering, throttle, and start. Does that sound right? I have never priced this out before and don't know what is normal.

sounds way over priced imo, how did you shape those T-Bars to the shape of the rake?

Most people on here build their own stuff. I know that a lot of people can't, but it's just one of the cool things to do. Gives you a lot more since of accomplishment after it's all said and done. Also saves a lot of $$$$$$$$$

Duhhh I knew that, I was just looking at hull shape and thought that
Lol well we are using it for a similar job. This boat will spend very few hours going full speed in open water. Running shallow is my biggest concern. Plus a few of are lakes have a lot of stumps. Needs to take a hard hit from time to time.
