Naw, I shoot them at 25' deep with my bow set on 20lbs. They get the bends before I get them to the boat!
.....well at least I aint full of chit then!!!......and I admit it when I am,......

I think he was just saying that it isn't wise to deliberately shoot a dull broadhead.Several years ago I stumbled across and old doe that a friend of mine shot.It died from infection. He took a quartering away shot and hit her in the last rib.The arrow followed between the rib cage and the hide and stopped at it's brisket, with no exit wound. Most of his arrow was still in the deer.I pulled out, it was a 2315 that was still as straight as a string. His broadhead was a 100 grain thunderhead that looked like it had been shot into a sand pile about 50 times. He's about as dumb as a box of rocks so I wasn't too surprised to see what he did.
Thank you Casey...that is exactly what I was saying. If these guys like to waste game then I guess it is what it is.

As easy as it is to sharpen or change blades on a broadhead why would anyone shoot a dull one?

Thats the whole thing. These broad heads dont even have a nick in the blades. I didnt say I was shooting dull blades, that was posted by someone else. I was talking about the toughness, not that I could kill a deer with a butter knife!

I'm not saying I recommend using dull blades, but I don't agree with a guy telling another guy he should have his license stripped for doing so. Seems kinda liberal to me. I replace mine every year, but call me superstitious I usually use the same broadhead/arrow for multiple deer unless it gets to a point where it's un usuable

and yet,I freakin killed a fish with a slingshot and KY called me gay... go figure that one out
That's because slingbows are gay!! They should rename them the Petter Puffers Wrist Rocket.. At the very least they should have a disclaimer stating "Sling bows may be hazardous to your sexuality".. However you like it and keep using it which makes me think you might not suck a rooster but you'd sure lay it in your mouth!! All I'm say'n BD is ya better get rid of that thing before your farts start smelling like semen!!

It's all good Vinnie.I wasn't even referring to anybody on this website.I was thinking about a lot of jackasses over on AT when I said that. This place has a much cooler crowd than that chit hole.Y'alls my main peeps so If I get to talking too much chit then just tell me to stfu.:cheers:
I have to agree on this one. I gave up on AT years ago because I could not deal with the ethics police over there. You could post up a picture with textbook shot placement and there would be a line of people waiting to tell you what you did wrong. I still go there for the classifieds on occasion, but you won't catch me browsing the forums any more.

Yep.I like how someone can post up a simple question with only one possible answer. You could be the first to chime in with the right answer and before the thread is done there will be ten pages of replies from people telling you just how wrong you are and how they think that you're a complete idiot. Most of the time I just sit back and laugh while reading that stupid chit but once in a while I will get in there and mix it up a little bit just for chits and giggles, especially this time of year.Ditto on their classifieds it kicks ass.I love people that sell awesome stuff for next to nothing just so they can be keeping up with the Joneses.

LOL!!I have been called a lot of things but never a Lib!!!OUCH!Maybe the lisc. pull wasnt the answer but why would you not want to have EVERYTHING working for ya?You spend $700,on a bow,$300 more in gadgets to go on the bow,$15 for an arrow, and an astronomical price for a broadhead, why would you not replace the blades?I am all about re-using the Ferrul.Ethics Police I am not...etical sportsman,.....I strive to be
