NO! we are talking about sitting perfectly still in 20ft of chocolate milk water and waiting(sometimes hours) for a big gar to surface, roll over and dive. This may take less than a second. You draw back instinctively and shoot the way she went.

to clarify the fellers question, they dont roll over sideways, they kinda porpous and break the surface.

crazy fast Lots of times you will hear them gulp for air and you will turn your head just in time to see their back out of the water, and then you shoot and miss as their tail kinda splashes and waves at you kinda like she just flipped you the bird. Zero visibility chocolate milk water!

So it sounds like if you can see anything at all you better shoot not freeze up waiting for a better view. How the heck do you even know if it's big enough?
