It will be very difficult to beat Marklands number in a fan boat. All the fan boats I have built and fished in range between 7-8 mph. The fan can not break over the wall of water it is pushing to achieve anymore speed unlike an airboat that powers thru the wall and pops upon top.
11 MPH is way to fast to fish. A crisp walk is 5mph and thats way to fast imo.Wow, I thought I heard Sanford was getting like 11mph in clean water. He told me it would get so fast he'd have to reverse it and slow down a little to fish. That was with out a reducer, I think.
He is not getting 11mph on a standard 38hp or less hp with reduction or without fan motor.11 MPH is way to fast to fish. A crisp walk is 5mph and thats way to fast imo.
LOL do not get a airboat!!11 MPH is way to fast to fish. A crisp walk is 5mph and thats way to fast imo.
