Sounds good to me. We already have special shoot to win the Oakleys. I agree we need to make some special catagories so eveey one has a chance to win something. Let me know if you get some prizes. Im working on some more also.

The tourney has been moved to Melvern Lake which is about 2 1/2 hours north of Independence KS near Emporia.

Im kinda interested in that question too. I do most of my fishing in Oklahoma, so you guys wont be the only team out of your element lol.

Melvern has buffs ,carp, grass carp , big gar , quillbacks, channel , blue and flathead catfish, shad, that i know of not sure if it has suckers and bowfin ive never seen them in there. The first night we ever fished that lake we shot 101 fish its got good clear water up to 10 foot in places . You can find about any kind of stuff you want to fish from rocks to mud flats there are alot of coves and some are full of standing timber. I dont think anyone would be disappointed fishing this lake it will be a fun tournament win or loose.

Doesn't look like we'll be making this shoot. Haven't had a day off since July the 8th. Got a job that has to be done by Oct. 17th so the boss can collect a half million bonus so he's not afraid to pay some OT for a change.

I'm sure it will be a great shoot!! Have fun and take some pics. for us working stiffs.

Hack's Meat Shack is going to donate a retriver and 4 arrows thinking maybe an arrow for second place in each side pot and was thinking maybe the retriver could go to the boat owner of the second place team if its a winner take all tourny . Im also giving each boat a package of snak stix. If that is the way Justin wants to do it if you pay more places it could go to the first team out of the money. Ill bring some Hack's Meat Shack tshirts that can be givin away how ever Justin wants to.
