thats about what i figured, kinda hard for mama to reproduce that way, being stalked by a pack of wolves
yea,its pretty disturbing really,Toms will kill the young too. They are having the kittens then they are starving!Nothing should have to die like that...oh,but the Tree Huggers have done such a great thing!!!!

On the same note I would venture to guess that it's not only the wolves killing the lions that is affecting them, it is probly related to the decrease of big game Elk and mostly deer. Which could be pointed back to the wolf but also lack of management and bad winters.

don't even get me started, and the politicians too, making decisions for the real world from the 3rd story off an airconditioned office and cooshy chair.

Hey kuger what happens if you walk up on a lion or wolf do they pretty much get the hell out when they smell human or do they stand there ground. The only thing here is pig and they pretty much hall ass unless cornered or messing with there young

I honestly havent ever walked up on a wolf so cant speak for them, but lions.......thats hard to say.....I have investigated hundreds of killed deer/livestock and guarantee the cat was watching me,on at least a couple of em......I set a lion cage trap with a goat the lion had killed and told the lady to call me when I had something.....I was about 20 minutes away from her house when the phone rang......"You have something....I dont know what, but its hitting the trap",..........turned around, and Wal-la!Mr. Kitty was in the trap....You think it was watching me set it?LOL!!
I have walked up on kills and seen the cat slink off, usually pretty swiftly but have had a couple turn back and check ya out.Never had one "Stand their Ground",though

its not something I even think about,I know they have watched me,hell probably stalked me....if they want ya,they will get ya,and it will be from behind...you likely wont even know what hit ya...hopefully.Now Grizzlies on the other hand....I hate em,they will hunt and kill you..I am afraid of rocky mt. Grizzlies

thats fricken awesome, man i wanna do that.
...I told ya I would put em up before I started"Bragging",so there they are......I didnt shoot em,so is it still bragging?By the way all three of those cats are record book class

Hello Lucas, yes they are an incredible animal!!I worked Nevada for three years doing solely coyote control, but my co-worker and room mate was the NDOW full time lion killer....used mostly snares.I had got rid of my lion dogs by that time though so didnt do a whole lot of running.I worked here in Cali for 15 years doing lion/bear/pig and coyote control,%99 of that was dry ground running.....your right it takes a speical dog to do it consistently.I never took pics on the job,but will see if I have some from other hunts. We used to run in Arizona and New Mexico quite a bit for fun
