Around .04-.05 mile according to my map and the 20 fish thing is your limit due to law which includes buf, gar, drum basically anything in the sucker family you can go to mdc.mo.gov to see all the laws but I dont think you will have to worry about the limit to much I mean 80 of buffalo or gar is going to be hard to get but you can shoot as many comin and grass carp you want no limit on them

I dunno how the weather is in MO, but here we still have ice on some of our lakes. Spawns quite a ways off-at least around these parts. Actually scratch that-looks like MO weather is in the 70s already! Should be some fish up.

As for the lake being 'tough'.....well this is just based on what Ive learned from what Ive looked at so far. Never fished it so hopefully Im wrong about some of my assumptions.
