Registration for the shoot begins at 5 pm at the Lower Greens Run boat launch the day of the shoot. You just have to show up before the shoot and register in person at the trailer they will have set up. Hope this helps.

To make that shoot better you should have the lake off limits for 24 hrs before the shoot. I won't be back until that happens . Another than that its a fun time .

Seriously? That idea would never fly. you would have the bowfishing guys not welcome on the lake at all if you expected to close the lake down for 24 hrs prior. On a good note: i live about 20 min from the lake and I am right now into the huge school of carp in this lake. I can take a blind man there and have him kill 20 fish without a problem. You honestly can close your eyes when you shoot. They are stacked up in areas in Bald eagle. Anyone close by that may wanna go out with me soon? I plan on hitting these schools hard until they no longer exsist.

Some tournaments do put the lakes off limits to bowfishermen 24 hours prior to shoots. It doesn't mean the whole lake is closed to the public-just the bowfishermen.I've been to bald eagle before, you'll never get rid of the schools of carp-way to many-it'll be fun trying though.Good luck!
