was out last night.... local lake. If Id put up a pic of all our 2-5lb fish Im sure yous all would know right where it was:) beautiful night tho....

Mallardsx2 I love that shad pic, and that guy with his first fish...looks like the fish almost won! Those are the kind of pics I love to see. I saw an eel last night and I wish to heck I would have got picture of that swimming under the lights.

RUM, if you prefer a crowded parking lot, I guess we are very different then. I've never had the urge to "shoot against" someone when it comes to live animals. Competition is for targets and clays. I go out to enjoy the day, the quiet, and have a good time.

A couple weeks ago I went to a usual spot (place has been mentioned here on new BFC) and there were four rigs there, one of them with Jersey plates, and another guy came in after...he mentioned how there were very few big fish left. Well now, that really should not be a surprise when people are driving at least 2 hours because they read about it on the internet the last couple years...

Internet scouting for ducks started years back and now it seems history is repeating for carp...when the great thing about bowfishing is you can most likely do it in your own backyard. I don't care one way or another about the fish bucket/tailgate shots, just the cyberscouting aspect when people mention where they went on a public forum/facebook. For every member reading there are a whole bunch of lurkers.

i may have a different opinion once all my spots get over run with people but as of now i see maybe 1 boat a month fishing the same water i do. what does help is that i have a ton of different places to shoot all within an hour from me.

fished for about 2 hrs last night....water was terrible muddy....got 12...n had an uneventful mornin turkey huntin...need a turkey bad to complete my triple trophy but it ain't lookin good at my spot..

Tried the river last night and was surprised at how dirty the water was on the East Shore, moved to the West shore and it was a little better but with the river being up was tough for us to find any shallow fish. Pulled the boat and went to a little lake and did well. Water was cloudy but warming up.
