Too bad I don't do the night stuff...... I would be there....
Matt

Not enough night fishers is the general consensus so if anyone wants to fish get ahold of me
Probably more "night fishers" around than ya think. I'm guessing you'll do better in the future to plan something like this on a weekend when there won't be 44 boats all gathered on the other side of the state :cf:

Rob there are also a lot of guys who are not willing to travel 4 hours to shoot. Personally I need to stay close with a wife who is about to deliver a baby. I hope ya had a great time at AF! Most of the boats I have seen at tourneys in ID aren't set up for night. I am a night guy through and through. I plan on throwing quite a few more together. I think the lack of shooters was due to late posting. At least that's what the 11 text messages say. Have a great day bud!

its funny how tough it is to get long time day shooters to get set up to shoot at night.Since I put lights on the boat I would much rather shoot at night when all the Nuts are gone!!Good luck,we arent having a whole bunch of luck getting night participation locally either

That's a tough egg to crack in states where most of the waters are reasonably clear. I am by no means an authority on night shooting, but I've done enough of it to learn that there is no advantage to it in clear water. Murky water, SURE! Fortunately (or may be "unfortunately", depending on how ya look at it), we're in a state you can do both.
Good luck with future events, AOF, but seriously, I'd give the fellas that are set up for night shooting the option to support your event on a weekend they don't have to "choose" where to go.

:laugh:Rob,the advantages are no sun burn, and no dik heads in ski boats or jet ski's playing knock the ******* off the deck!

That never happens on the lake. We had a guy in a jet boat doing sprints on the flat that we were fishing on. I don't think he knew that it was 8-12 inches deep where he was with some shallow bars. I was waiting for him to beach the boat

Was not trying to pull anyone just giving guys an option that couldn't afford or weren't headed for whatever reason an opportunity to shoot with like minded shooters, hence the reason I posted targeting night shooters two very different worlds. I can assure you you will have more oppurtunities to join. I'm sorry you had to "choose" one way or the other. Night/day IMO NO ADVANTAGE SHOOTING DAYTIME. I do see a lot of 0's on the results. Wind I suppose? Too big of water for smaller boats? I know last year I didn't get on fish until I located the out of bounds reservation....

"Different worlds" like baseball is to softball may be...different rules, but really the same game with all the same tools.
No choice had to be made by this fat kid...
night time aint the right time for me, I like to drink when the sun goes down, but I'll spread the word for ya when there are "more opportunities to join".
How many "0's" are there on the Cinco de nighto results...haven't seen them posted yet:cf:

If you'd look I was also a sponsor of last years American Falls Classic. And surely would have sponsored this year had I been offered the opportunity even though I couldn't go. Mr. James, do you really want to go down this road? I just couldn't make it this year, and figured there were other's. sorry to have offended you.
