Got to the delta friday afternoon. Was hot (92) and dead calm. Water was like glass. My 6 year old Mason and I ran up to a new area Ive never been. Soon as I pulled up there was fish sunning everywhere. Some were super spooky and some were dumb as can be. I held off from shooting for a while so Mason could see the fish. He was ecstatic.
Took my girlfriend out up the back slough. Lots of fish in pods. Saw a few nice fish. Was tough back there since the tide was low and the hydrilla was super choked, so I couldnt get all the way back in.
Saturday woke up to howling winds and a little cooler air temp. Ended up not even taking my boat out once Saturday. It stayed tied up to the dock all day.
Sunday woke up to rain and cold breezy air. Took my son for a long boat ride up to the draw bridge and followed a seal for a few miles. Didnt even bring the bow. Headed home around Noon.
