Finally! Its time to set the bowfishing world on FAARRRRR!!!
After a long and expensive spring, my concept has become a working reality!
OK, maybe its not exactly gonna set the world on fire, but it is pretty damn cool
After debating on throwing up a short clip of my rig now, or waiting and doing a sweet edited version, I decided I couldnt wait any longer.....so here it is.
Keep in mind this a rough 'working prototype' system, and by no means the 'final' version. Theres a few improvements I plan on adding down the road, but I first needed to get SOMETHING on the water. Hell, I've only used trolling motors up to this point, and had no idea if Id even like a kicker. But I can say, I dont think its coming off my boat anytime soon! I'm still getting used to it, and one thing I have to do is slow the trottle down some (you can see it 'spin out' a few times in the clip), but I think the CONCEPT is pretty solid.
Its been complete for a few weeks now, but I wanted to make sure everything was fully functional before I put it on display. Although its not shown in the video, I also have my electric start button on the side of my control box, along with an on/off switch for both my circuitry and my engine kill. Future upgrades will have a small LED light bar to show engine position, throttle position, and what gear you are in, along with a few other possibilities....
So enough with the chatter, lets see it!
...hopefully this imbeds....
