We never found any either and I thought we would have had it won easy from what we saw but I guess not haha oh well it was fun and it was good to see everyone again maybe we can make it down to melvern.

Casey, I thought you was from South Texass or mexico or something like that?

That was frustrating to see the lake change like it did... We never did find the big fish. I tip my hat to those who did... Never would have guessed there wouldn't have been a 40+ pound fish shot outta that lake...

The food was really really good !!!!!!! I fished that lake alot and never had a bad night like we had.. But there was some ok size fish but the tubs should have been all big buffs and coms with some 20lb gar next year should be better .....

Still here guys and I am not hanging my head or hiding. I felt good taking 2nd place out of 24 teams considering we couldnt find the fish either. We got lucky and found 1 decent area and stuck with it. I do believe the shoot would have been different if they wernt dumping the lake as fast as they were. Sounds like next year might be a whole differnt party. LOL

Thank you everyone for the compliments on the food . Congrats to the Nebraska teams for making a good show on Ks water im sorry the lake wasnt what it normally is a week ago we shot 750 lbs of fish in a few hrs . We just couldnt find the big fish we got on several decent spots but nothing like normal it was tough to say the least but 2600 lbs of fish for the 23 or 24 teams that were there was still good for the conditions plus thats about all the truck and toon wanted for a load driving 2 hrs home . Always enjoy seeing my buddies from Ne and meeting some new teams from up north and a new team or two from Ks this by far wasnt the worst tourny ive ever shot drove 4 hrs once and shot one little 12 inch gar that sucked . Thank you to everyone that showed up and thank you to Rich for all the stuff he brought to hand out to the teams was real nice for everyone to get something . Thank you Red Water Junkies for all the help at weigh in that made things go alot faster . A big thank you goes to Alpha Heating and Cooling ( hope i got that right ) for donating the awesome trophy that was very nice and thank you Corey Hafer for carrying the trash from the meal all the way to the dumpster in the next parking lot that was a long haul with a barrel full of trash. Thank you Team Beast for bringing all the chips and Dave Kuhlman and i belive Lance White for bringing the buns i hope im not missing anyone if so Thank you to.
